"EVERYONE WAS WELCOMING..."

You really put Stapleton on the map. Everyone at the eclipse was very impressed with how everyone in your town pitched in to handle such a monumental event. You all did a great job and we really appreciate it.

"EVERYONE WAS WELCOMING..."

The venue, the weather, the skies, the people – all came together for a day that is a HUGE check-off on our bucket list. Congratulations, all!

Welcome to Small Town Living at its Best

If you’re looking for a place to relocate on the southern edge of the Sandhills, surrounded by farms and ranches – look no further. Stapleton is located on U.S. Highway 83 and just 30 miles north of Interstate 80. The village is made up of individuals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its citizens. For those just visiting, you are invited to play a round of golf at the unique course located south of town, hunt big game and birds in the fall and winter, and enjoy your stay in one of our RV parks, newly remodeled “Bunk House” on main street, or the camper-friendly Stapleton Park.

Stapleton offers activities for young and old alike. Senior citizens meet monthly in the Stapleton Community Center, there is a youth baseball program in the summer, and Nebaska’s Biggest Little Rodeo and Logan County Fair is an August event highlight.

Stapleton residents, along with their friends and family, line the parade route every August for Stapleton’s annual County Fair Weekend Parade!

Stapleton offers many seasonal activities throughout the year. One of the kids’ favorite events is the Annual Chamber Easter Egg Hunt held in our park.

"EVERYONE WAS WELCOMING..."

“We arrived in Stapleton as a group of eight early Monday and we enjoyed our visit to your town. The organization and planning was impressive and the effort that everyone made to welcome us was wonderful. We took time to wander about your town and could see that everyone was welcoming there. I must admit getting parking directions via horseback was a new experience for us! We may travel to other eclipses (2024 is practically local for us) but no one will do better than Stapleton. Take great pride in a job well done.”
