A new sign has been installed at the intersection of Highways 83 and 92 in the Kimber’s parking lot east of Stapleton. Jayla Trosper of Stapleton completed the project for her Girl Scout Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. Jayla had to complete at least 80 hours, have community involvement, document the project and journal all of the steps it took to complete it. Thank you goes out to Bevin Brown, advisor; Cindy Frey for her help and serving as co-advisor; Steve Frey, Shawna Frey, Jason Trosper, Renee Trosper and Charlie Dressel for their help; Darrell Barnum, Robert and Susanne Jones and family, Amanda Chestnutt, the Stapleton Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Stapleton for their generous donations; Toxic Graphics for design help; and Ben Jones, the Stapleton FBLA and Jakob Trosper for assistance.
